“Show recently used files in Quick Access” Disables itself in Windows 10
In win 10 I did not liked the recently used files on the top of the start menu so I disabled that but that has a side effect and it is that the recently used files also disappear from the quick access in explorer. If you try to re-enable recently used files in Quick Access by checking the option it will un-check automatically and the change will not take effect. To enable that again you have to: Right-click Desktop and choose Personalize Click Start and enable the option: Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar If this option is disabled, "Show recently used files in Quick Access" option is automatically disabled. So if you want to see this files on Quick Access you have to like them in the Start menu too. Thanks MS. :-(
